The proposed constitution that would unite the Anglican District of Virginia and the Diocese of the Holy Spirit in a single diocese is the first governing document of an ACNA judicatory that I have been able to examine before its adoption.
This proposed constitution holds a particular interest for me because the two Anglican jurisdictions that it would unite have ties to the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and the Church of the Province of Uganda, two of the reputedly more evangelical of the global South Provinces. My interest is more than academic since such a union may affect the region in which I live-western Kentucky.
