The Revd Steve Maina personifies the solution he sees for the post-Christian West. A fourth generation Anglican priest from Kenya, he has been National Director of the Church Missionary Society in New Zealand for the past two years.

The Two Thirds World Church refers to the fact that two-thirds of the world's Christians are to be found in what has been called the developing world.

"For about 10 years as I have reflected on the growth of the church in Africa and the declining church in the West, I have been more and more convinced that the solution for the post-Christian West lies in strengthening the partnership of the church in the West and the Two Thirds World church," he says.
