Funding and Defunding Decisions in pecusa
The Lead, a liberal pecusa blog, in a post that links to an Alban Institute essay, "Ministry is a Marathon, Not a Sprint" states that pecusa has determined to defund the Fresh Start program for new clergy and clergy beginning a new ministry. This comes as the bishops would like to raise $15 million dollars for the College of Bishops. Does anyone else think that there's something wrong with this picture?

The essay was not the source of that information. The note on the Fresh Start program was added by Episcopal Cafe.
