I was told on Sunday about a feeding frenzy by some scavengers at the previous location of St. Andrew's Anglican Church. Apparently the diocese has authorized the plundering of the assets purchased by members of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and some Episcopal parishes in our area have been taking full advantage of this. What I was told was that music was taken from the former St. Andrew's facility and the actions were described to be like throwing a piece of raw meat in front of a dog. I was also told by another person yesterday about how he was filling up at the Valero station on the Parkway in Vestal and noticed a pick-up also there that was filled with furniture that looked familiar. When he investigated further he could see that it was furniture from the nursery of the former St. Andrew's location.
St. Andrew's is one of maybe two churches in the area without an endowment (possibly All Saints is in this category). So, given all the dead money in our area Episcopal churches, why the need for a feeding frenzy? Are budgets so tight in the Episcopal Fraud that there's no money for new music or nursery furniture? How is it that the inclusive church has become so needy? And where are all those people that we were told would be flocking to the Episcopal Fraud once the inclusive agenda of the world was embraced?
In the Press & Sun-Bulletin article posted below is this gem:
"The former St. Rita Catholic Church in Chenango Forks, which is listed at $159,900. The church has been for sale since mid-2006 after it closed and its furnishings were shipped to a New Orleans parish devastated by Hurricane Katrina. "
The Roman Catholics closed a church building and donated the furnishings to another church. In an article I posted five days ago it was reported that a presbytery of the largest Presbyterian denomination voted and allowed a congregation to remain in their building even though the congregation had decided to join another Presbyterian denomination. The Presbyterians even prayed over leaders of that congregation. What a contrast with the approach of the Episcopal
Fraud. Roman Catholics and Presbyterians actually seem to act like Christians, even in difficult times.
You'd think that the Episcopal scavengers might feel a tinge guilty about looting what remains from what was faithfully given for the ministry and mission of another Christian congregation. But, then again, as we have seen over the last few years, we aren't necessarily dealing with two Christian bodies. pecusa has chosen to embrace an alien religion, so I guess no one should be surprised at the uncharitable actions of the diminishing Episcopal sect once known as the Episcopal Church. After all, these are the folks that not only violate Scripture on sexual behavior, they also sue other Christians (if the pecusans are Christians to begin with) in violation of our Lord's teaching.
We have seen in the recent depositions of Bishops Cox and Schofield that pecusa ignores their Constitution and Canons as readily as they ignore Scripture. Is it any wonder that pecusa is losing 1,000 members a week?
