Liberals running scared

The post below shows the extent to which the orthodox realignment movement in North America is causing liberals vexation. The head of the Anglican Church in Canada wants to shut down what he sees as incursions into his territory, while at the same time allowing same sex blessings.

This has been the problem all along - liberals want to stop the growth of the realignment but they aren't willing to stop what precipitated the realignment. They started the crisis in Anglicanism but they aren't at all interested in doing anything other than blame conservatives. The unilateral actions of both pecusa and the ACiC have not yet been adequately addressed. We have two provinces of the Anglican Communion flagrantly violating communion norms all the while complaining about responses to their violations from within and without.

Lambeth was a lost opportunity and now Archbishop Hiltz is whining about Archbishop Venables setting up shop in Canada and the U.S. The consistent message from liberal Anglicans has been you stop, but we aren't going to stop. This is why the moratoria never had a chance to work.
