Wheaton, IL, November 20—More details are available regarding the historic December 3 worship service in Wheaton, IL, at which the Common Cause Partnership will make public the draft constitution of an emerging Anglican Church in North America and officially endorse the statement of the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) and the Jerusalem Declaration. The service will begin at 7:30 p.m at the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Road. The church seats 1200, and the event is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Clergy are invited to vest (purple stoles) and should arrive early. For those unable to attend, the worship service will be web-streamed live at www.anglicantv.org.
The thanksgiving reception for Christ Awakening will be held earlier in the day and will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Billy Graham Center on the campus of Wheaton College. The reception will be a time for the public to learn about the ministry of Christ Awakening and speak with the event’s organizers.
Two airports are available in Chicago: Midway (MID) and O’Hare (ORD). Both are about an hour away from Wheaton.
