They have been picketing Saddleback Church in California because of Pastor Rick Warren's support of Proposition 8. Hate has many faces, and personally, I don't find the faces standing with signs outside Saddleback Church to be loving ones.
Now, President-elect Obama has chosen Pastor Warren to offer the invocation at the inaugural and now the gay brigade is really mad. Inclusivity has its bounds even for the inclusivist gay brigade as conservatives have known for a long time. It's bad enough that the President-elect has chosen Warren, but now he's not buckling under to gay brigade pressure. It's really upsetting. That is, unless you believe that inclusivity should once in a while work its way to the right.
