Upstate NY hasn't fared well, according to pecusa records. Central NY losses were the highest in membership and average Sunday attendance (ASA) according to the pecusa data. For example, Albany lost 1.3% of membership while the more liberal DCNY lost 8.1%. Albany lost 5.6% of ASA while the more liberal DCNY lost a whopping 10.2%. The losses in membership and ASA in the DCNY were the largest in Province 2. In fact, the losses in the DCNY are larger than any diocese in Provinces 1, 2,and 3. No diocese in Province 2 or the contiguous Provinces 1 and 3 experienced larger losses.

No wonder the mood at the DCNY Annual Convention was so poor; the DCNY is imploding.
