Quoting Church Fathers
The post below this one reminds me of conversations I had after the release of a study on human sexuality produced by the Diocese of New York a few years ago. In that report Irenaeus was used to justify same sex behavior. It was a misreading of Irenaeus as I pointed out then, just as KTF misuses Anselm (see below). It would be helpful in any dialogue that both parties give honest readings of the sources they use in support of their positions. We've seen that liberals can't do this with Scripture nor with the Church Fathers.
