I am wondering if anyone in the DCNY has thought to check the basements of the two buildings that the diocese owns on Mirador Rd. in Vestal. Having spent nine of my ministry years in one of them and a parallel seven years in the other I know that the two basements tend to take on water after a heavy rainfall like the one we had last Saturday. The bishop should be aware of this as well since I showed him the damage in one of the basements after our last area flood.
The DCNY took possession of these two building in December 2007 and one would think that good stewardship would require a timely inspection after a heavy rainfall. I wonder if this has happened.

Just imagine if those in charge were to steward the true treasure.
Amen, Jeannette, but they can't even take care of the material treasure that they have grabbed from those who value the true treasure.
