From the ACNA via Stand Firm:
The Executive Committee has voted to strengthen the relationship between the the Anglican Mission, the Province of Rwanda and the Anglican Church in North America.
March 12, 2010
In a regularly scheduled meeting of the Anglican Church in North America’s Executive Committee, the leaders agreed among other things, to strengthen the relationship between the Anglican Mission, the Province of Rwanda and the Anglican Church in North America currently defined by protocol. As a result, the Executive Committee will appoint a Task Force charged with continuing to carry forward all components of the existing protocol formally and canonically. When the Task Force has completed its work, the group will report back to the Executive Committee, and the final recommendations will then be presented to the House of Bishops of the Province of Rwanda and the Provincial Council of the Anglican Church in North America. The canons of the Anglican Church in North America provide for a sub-provincial jurisdiction such as a missionary society, and the Executive Committee expressed a commitment to the Anglican Mission’s role as a missionary society of Rwanda in full participation with the Anglican Church in North America.
