The long knives are already out

As you can see in the post below the liberals are already going after Fr. Dan Martins who was elected bishop of Springfield. A little history will explain how this works. When Barbara Harris was elected suffragan bishop in Mass. we were told that standing committees could not vote on her theology, only on whether the diocese followed the proper procedures in the election. Then, when Jack Iker was elected bishop of Fort Worth, liberals rejected him on the basis of his theology. You can see how this works. There is little sense of fairness with liberals - it's all about moving their agenda.
