The Church in Southern Sudan has an opportunity to play a major role in the country as it achieves independence on July 9th. It can be central to the economy and in policy making. But it may also be drawn into compromises.
So concluded an international team of Christian Pastors and Investors from Anglican and Pentecostal Churches from UK, India and Southern Africa who visited Juba in the last week of March in connection with the launch of Manna Microfinance, a ministry of the Episcopal Church of Sudan in partnership with the Bridge Foundation India and Anglican International Development (AID).
