The live internet news conference started out as it always does: the prearranged call to an 800 number at the appointed hour ... the punching in of an entrance code and the announcing of your name and media organization ... then silence.
Four minutes later a voice says: "Who is on the call with us?" It's the voice of Neva Rae Fox, the public affairs officer for The Episcopal Church.
"Mary Ann Mueller with VirtueOnline," I reply.
