National Papa John’s Appreciation Day
Nice to see that this happened and kudos to those restaurants who are communicating clearly and honestly to the public. Those who do so should only *gain* in business, not lose, no matter the little outraged twitter feeds from collectivists and central planning apparatchik wanna-bes.
I’m not a big franchise user—I prefer local businesses that major in excellence and quality. But, if I’m traveling and need to make quick stops right off major Interstates, I will be giving strong consideration to Applebees. If I’m out for an early-morning breakfast, Denny’s will be a strong consideration. And if there are choices among pizza franchises, Papa Johns will be at the one-spot for now.

More than 17,000 people plan to eat at Papa John’s today, rallying in support of the maligned CEO John Schnatter, who has come under attack for speaking out about how Obamacare will hurt his business.
