Guess he won’t give the invocation, either (or will he?)
Well, it looks like we have past intemperate comments on record, by our President’s deputy for tolerance, inclusion, peace and justice in the Middle East:
But don’t count Mr. Morsi out as the voice of enlightened prayer for the President’s new term. The Administration appears to be letting the Religion of Peace impose itself by force of arms against civilians in South Sudan.
Maybe that will be in the invocation.
“We must never forget, brothers, to nurse our children and our grandchildren on hatred for them: for Zionists, for Jews,” Mr. Morsi declared. Egyptian children “must feed on hatred; hatred must continue,” he said. “The hatred must go on for God and as a form of worshiping him.”The President dumped Christian Pastor Louie Giglio from offering the invocation at the upcoming Inauguration ceremonies, because of comments made almost twenty years ago that failed to express awe, reverence and adoration for gay sex.
But don’t count Mr. Morsi out as the voice of enlightened prayer for the President’s new term. The Administration appears to be letting the Religion of Peace impose itself by force of arms against civilians in South Sudan.
U.S. policy toward the continuing human tragedy in Sudan is “in the worst place it’s ever been,” said Mark C. Hackett, CEO and executive director of Memphis-based Operation Broken Silence. “It’s extremely disappointing.”But you know it’s OK if it’s Islam or gay, and if the targets are Jews or Christians. As Mr. Morsi says,
“The hatred must go on for God and as a form of worshiping him.”
Maybe that will be in the invocation.
