ASSUME THE POSITION
I have three reactions to this story:
(1) For a very long time, I’ve believed that these things should not be wasted on young children but should be reserved strictly for those old enough to appreciate them.
True story. The single most…um…interesting, yeah, let’s go with that word, circ desk encounter I ever had at my former library involved some overdue books and a not-in-any-way-shape-or-form-unattractive woman who raised this very subject.
(2) But look. EARTHWORMS know what’s really going on here. So howzabowt we avoid attaching the terms “Biblical” or “Christian” to this particular subject, ‘kay?
(3) That said, I’d better not hear any criticism or jokes from Episcopalians about this. After all, the Episcopal Organization doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with two people of the same sex boinking one another. And as everyone knows…all together now.
