JOHNSON’S SECOND LAW?

Not to brag or anything but Your Editor is widely considered to be one of the most brilliant and insightful commentators on Christian affairs in this country.  His discovery, Johnson’s First Law of Episcopal Thermodynamics (“Every joke made about the Episcopal Church eventually comes true.”) has been proven again and again to be as fundamental a law of the universe as Einstein’s e=mc2 doohickey.

The reason why the Editor is going to all the trouble of reminding you how awesome he is revolves around the fact that he may be on the verge of a second momentous discovery and all the available evidence suggests that it will eventually prove to be as true as the First Law has repeatedly been shown to be.

For the benefit of those interested in just how the Editorial intellect works, Mr Fischler directed the Editor’s attention hither.  The Editor is not going to quote any of it here because it is literally too stupid for words so read as much of it as you are able (and don’t miss DFisch’s masterful beatdown of the thing).

Since most of you probably bailed early, the Editor has a question.  Without scrolling down, what denomination is the author of that piece?  This is where the light bulb came on over the Editorial head.

Johnson’s Theory (because a theory is all it is at this point) of Leftist Christian Relativity runs roughly as follows: all liberal Christian “thought” is coalescing or will coalesce into one grand unified field of stupidity.

To put it in laymen’s terms, you will, very shortly, not be able to tell the denomation of a liberal Christian merely be reading his or her words.  And anything that appears on ENS will be equally at home on the National Catholic Reporter.
