Tracking the Diocese of Central New York

A post today on Stand Firm in Faith linked to an Episcopal Church site called Studying Your Congregation and Community.  At that site there is information about dioceses and churches.  So, what does it say about the DCNY?

In 2001, the DCNY had just under 24,000 baptized members.  In 2011, that number was under 16,000.  In 2001, worship attendance was around 7,000 per Sunday.  In 2011, that number was less than 5,000.

Financial giving has remained fairly flat over that same period of time, which is an accomplishment given the diminished numbers in the pews.

So, are any of you still in the DCNY asking any honest questions about what has happened over the last dozen years in your diocese?  How's inclusivity working out for you?
