A satanic group in Oklahoma is proposing they be allowed to install their own monument next to one of the Ten Commandments.
Satan worshipers are seeking to build their own monument at the state Capitol, and Lucien Greaves, a spokesman for the Satanic Temple, said he’s “optimistic” it will be approved. If you are wondering what such a monument might look like, you aren’t going to like the answer.
“I really don’t see a grounds which they can reject this,” he told ABC News.
When asked what the Satanic monument would look like, Greaves said he doesn’t want to “reveal too much about the possible design options,” but hinted that his “favorite design, at the moment, is an interactive display for children.”The evil amongst us knows the best way to corrupt our society is not only from the inside but through our children.
“The Satanic Temple embraces the free expression of religion, and Satanists are happy to show their support of Rick Scott who … has re-affirmed our American freedom to practice our faith openly, allowing our Satanic children the freedom to pray in school,” the Temple said in a February statement announcing the rally. There is a reason we are told to prepare our children. Children learn what they live.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:5-9
