Could Tony Miano have been Arrested in a Scottish Church? Why not?

If Scottish police did behave as they are reported to have done over the arrest of American evangelist Tony Miano in Dundee high street yesterday, then it is rational to believe that arrests of Bible-believing preachers in their church buildings could soon be on the cards in Scotland.

Mr Miano's latest arrest is much more serious for him than his arrest in Wimbledon last July when he was released without charge. This time, after being held in custody overnight, Mr Miano has today been released on bail to appear before Dundee Sheriff Court in April. He has pleaded not guilty to the charge of 'breach of the peace with homophobic aggravation'.

According to Christian Today, the Dundee arrest was witnessed by Pastor Josh Williamson of the Craigie Reformed Baptist Church in Perth. Mr Williamson was himself arrested for street preaching in Perth last September.
