Noah the Movie

Russell Crowe was out bashing detractors of the film Noah.  I’ve heard several others who screened the film and most of them consider it a real bust.  Glenn Beck screened it and calls it the Babylonian Chainsaw Massacre.  Ben Shapiro of Brietbart News has seen the movie and offers us his review.
Spoiler alert: we will explore what’s in the film, in detail. It’s important to do so because so many religious people are so overjoyed to see a Bibically-based film that they seem to forget that the Bible has a moral system to it – and they seem to overlook the fact that that moral system isn’t just violated, it’s turned on its head in Noah. Noah doesn’t merely get the story wrong; like all Biblical adaptations, it’s bound to do that (although some aspects of the film are out and out ridiculous). It gets the morality of the story wrong, and in the process turns God into Gaia and morality into radical deep green environmentalism.
This is an absolute puzzlement to me.  Hollywood knows that we are thirsty for good Christian movies.  They are well aware of the profits from Mel Gibson’s, The Passion.  With that in mind, I think I’ve come to a conclusion.  They hired ECUSA as the religion advisor.  Sure they CLAIIM John Snowden (the actor) was the advisor.  Seriously, an actor?)  Who else would use one of the best known stories in the Bible and turn it into a left wing political statement complete with Rock people?  My only surprise?  No gays.  Of course, I quickly realized that they didn’t know back then what we know today.
Don’t know about you but I am grateful for the movie review.  I can think of a lot better ways to spend $20.
