From a friend in the Southwest

TECUSA has disappeared.

TEC has captured most dioceses and has rebelled against the Faith, walked away and everyone within her is either already wearing a rebel uniform and/or flying the rebel TEC imperious flag except the Windsor dioceses, and even here, many are in rebellion.

The Windsor bishops have tried every argument and tactic to get TEC and the ACC to lay down their arms and reunite with the Anglican faithful. Canada has backed off, what will the HoB do, Manassas or Appomatox? I pray for the miracle of Appomatox Court House.

Unless a miracle of God’s intervention happens, it probably can’t happen with the hard hearted PB and HoB majority in denial of the two choices before them. If it is Manassas, I believe there will be no war, no negotiations, no compromise. Why? The character of the GC leadership. The Anglicans will move ahead in North America and TEC held territories with new missionary work and our “Amish” sized TEC will become a chapter in North America’s religious history.

So my friend, from my perspective right now, you and I and all Windsor clergy are in reality already in rebel TEC uniforms with an Anglican scarf tied around one arm. What we do with that uniform in the future depends on the next few weeks. I can’t blame anyone for choosing a transfer to be loyal to the Anglican Communion, the apostolic faith being upheld by the GS, and laying aside their rebel uniforms.

All of us through the HoB are being asked to surrender and return before 9/30. St. Xxxxxxs isn’t waiting to surrender. I am still standing firm –and I am accountable for doing so. Daily, I have to pray for grace to continue in this rebel, apostate TEC uniform. However, I do know this rebellion must be surrendered. I hope and pray to Christ Jesus that Bev and I and a lot of my brothers and sisters in Christ here in the diocese don’t have to do it alone but we do that together as part of a return to ECUSA heritage, under our bishop’s and Standing Committee’s leadership.

Remember, almost no one has renounced their orders since 2003. I also will never surrender my orders in the holy Catholic Church but transfer by letter to return and serve under a bishop in the Anglican Communion. TEC courts have no jurisdiction there. Unfortunately, for us, that will probably prove to be a sad but real relief.
