At the Lambeth joint session of Bishops and Spouses, on the subject of "Violence (against Women)," all of the men (Bishops and others) were asked to sit on one side of the "Big Top," while all of the women (Bishops and others) were asked to sit on the other side of the "Big Top."

To which one woman objected, "If we can't discuss these things in a safe space like this one, where can we discuss them?" The answer that was given was: "For some present, this is not as safe a space as you might think."

In walked Katharine Jefferts Schori who sat in the middle of the men's section! (She didn't seem to notice that she was the ONLY woman on that side of the tent.)

Several Bishops suggested to other Bishops, "Someone ought to tell her." To which each replied, "No, not me." Then someone spotted Richard Schori, and suggested he tell her.

His exact response: "Well, it isn't quite clear whether that applies to women with power."
