Archbishop Robert Duncan, Bishop of Pittsburgh and Archbishop of the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA) said in a recent address that the ACNA has grown from 703 to 765 congregations since June, 2009. The vision that he laid out last year was for the ACNA to plant 1000 new congregations in the next five years.
Archbishop Duncan also confirmed that 22 of the 38 provinces of the Anglican Communion recognize and are in communion with the ACNA. He said that three more provinces will shortly be in a similar position of recognition and communion.
