The muddled mind of the bishop of the CNY
I received word last week from a priest in the DCNY that Skip Adams had signed off on me preaching in a DCNY church. This is absolutely bizarre considering that I was deposed by Adams and the Standing Committee of the DCNY. I am sure that the bishop's intent was to be pastoral, but it boggles the mind that a deposed priest is acceptable to preach as a "visiting clergyperson." You would think that a bishop would have a better grasp of the import of his actions. This is from the same bishop who wouldn't allow the Bishop of Pittsburgh to preach at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Vestal. Welcome to the muddled mind of the bishop of the CNY.
