Five years after splitting from the national Episcopal Church, the members of Grace Anglican Church will celebrate their return to Oceanside on Sunday with a grand opening of a rented church space off Oceanside Boulevard.
The congregation had met every week at Carlsbad Community Church for more than a year when it held its first services in the new building near the intersection of Oceanside and College boulevards on Sept. 4.
Now that three months' worth of renovations have been completed, officials said the new facility is ready for its close-up, and are opening the doors for a special service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
