Don't count on it. As we saw with the abuse of power by Bishop Skip Adams in the DCNY, Episcopalians are reluctant to go after their own even when there is significant and credible evidence of wrongdoing. The DCNY chose to ignore evidence and conceal evidence, as in the burying of the Shaffer Report.
The evidence against the Presiding Bishop couldn't be any clearer, but I expect that no one will have the guts or decency to press charges against her. She has done such an excellent job of leading pecusa into its present diminished status, so what if she knowingly admitted and harbored a pedophile priest in her diocese? pecusa has shown no interest in church discipline and has much interest in unbiblical lawsuits. Go figure.
