Judge orders three week stay of execution following a "24-hour get out now" initial ruling

There is something fishy going on in southeastern Wisconsin. It is not the smell of muskies or walleyed pike along the shallows of Lake Michigan that bring a stench to the nose.
It appears that Wisconsin's Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge J. Mac Davis has a vested interest in ensuring that the property and buildings of St. Edmund's Anglican Church are unceremoniously returned into the hands of The Episcopal Church.
The judge would like to make St. Edmund's a 2011 Christmas present to Milwaukee Episcopal Bishop Steven Miller much the same way that in 1864 Union General William T. Sherman made the City of Savannah a Christmas gift to President Abraham Lincoln.
Apparently, last week, in the middle of a motion hearing, Judge Davis issued an injunction demanding that the parish and its clergy clear out of the sanctuary, school, rectory and all church property within one day.
