Episcopal Bishop Vicky Gene Robinson did a little denominational line crossing Sunday in Pittsburgh where he was lauded as "one of the great innovators of Christianity" and received a standing ovation.

Robinson, whose own consecration as the first openly homosexual Episcopal bishop, sent shock waves through the Anglican Communion leading to an open fracturing of the nearly 500 year old religious body and a distancing of worldwide Anglicanism from the American Episcopal Church. This rift is continuing to grow as the Episcopal Church piles on more letters on it gay identification symbolism.

The Bishop of New Hampshire is no stranger to border crossing. Be it diocesan borders, popping up in Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington, DC and other places; state borders, stumping for gay rights in Maine and Massachusetts; or international borders, showing up uninvited to Lambeth. But this time the Episcopal bishop has crossed a denominational boundary and is meddling in the internal affairs of the Presbyterian Church (USA), which is also in the grips of dealing with the homosexual issue on a denominational level.
