With chainsaws, pick axes and about a dozen people, Calvary-Imperial Beach began to clear overgrown brush and make changes at their new home, what used to be Santa Maria Virgin Episcopal Church.
Santa Maria closed its doors in February 2011 after more than 50 years in Imperial Beach
Calvary-Imperial Beach held its first worship services in October 2011, until now at the Boys & Girls Club of South County-Imperial Beach.
