NEW WORSHIP CELEBRATION TO BE ADDED JANUARY 11, 2009
Lately, its been hard to find a seat at St. Andrew's! We are coming up against the limits of our current space.
So, due to the needs of our growing congregation, we are adding a third Mass to our Sunday morning schedule. Starting January 11th, the First Sunday after the Epiphany, our Worship Services will be as follows:
Holy Eucharist, Rite I 7:45 AM
This service will have sermon and music. It will be a very traditional liturgy, featuring mostly older hymns. (much like our current 8:00 AM service)
Holy Eucharist, Rite II 9:00 AM
This service will be a blended, choral service. Music will be led by keyboard and choir, featuring a blend of hymns and contemporary music. Nursery will be provided.
Holy Eucharist, Rite II 11:15 AM
This service will be a contemporary, less formal service that follows the outline of the Book of Common Prayer. Music will be led by the praise team and will primarily consist of contemporary music, with some traditional hymns. Nursery and Children's Church will be provided.
What about Sunday School?
We will offer Sunday School at two points in the morning schedule:
9:00 AM Adult Bible Studies: (Classes offered at this hour will be A Study of the Tabernacle, and New Member's Class)
10:15 AM Bible Studies for all ages, Preschool through Adult (Adult Class will be First Corinthians during this hour).
St. Andrew's, Syracuse, 6138 S. Salina St., Syracuse.
