ACNA the only Anglican alternative in the USA?

Given Jim Naughton's musings below (see the Episcopal Cafe post), maybe we can look forward to a day when pecusa voluntarily leaves the Anglican Communion. Wouldn't that be sweet? After all, pecusa, in the language of the Windsor Report, has been walking away from the AC for the past six years. Wouldn't it be great to see pecusa finally admit that she cannot live within the commonsense boundaries that are being suggested by the Anglican Covenant? We haven't seen that level of honesty from pecusa yet, but maybe it is possible.

What would this do to the Communion Partners and their sympathizers? What would this do to those orthodox who have insisted that the coherent theological position for the orthodox in North America is to remain in their respective provinces?

Just asking.
