Stand Firm and Fr. Armstrong
An anonymous comment on an earlier DCNY blog post mentions Stand Firm's coverage of Fr. Armstrong's plea agreement. I rarely read comments at SFIF because generally they are shared ignorance, but since the thread was mentioned by anon. I took a look. For the most part the comments are shared ignorance with the original poster asking questions that might well have been answered before creating a post on this subject. To anon and others, yes, we on the orthodox side are profoundly able and willing to savage our own. I'm sure the intent was to show objectivity, but when so many questions are asked by the poster himself (a friend of mine, btw) one has to question the judgment of posting this story in the first place.

"...they are shared ignorance..."
Might I respectfully suggest that there are some blogs which are equally hard for some to read due to their singular pomposity? Not that there is anything wrong with that. ;)
Tregonsee, I hope this isn't one of them!
