Last month, an article by Sayeeda Warsi, the Minister for Faith, was published in the Daily Telegraph - under the headline "Extremists are driving Christians out of their homelands. We must act."
This will not be a merry Christmas for many Christians worldwide and, with that thought in mind, we publish below the entire text of a speech by the Baroness on which the article was based.
It was made at Georgetown University, and fewer people will have read it than perused the newspaper piece.
I hope that making its contents more widely available will do something to redress the balance, since I believe it was a significant speech, and is worth reading.
