In fewer than 25 words, the Hon. Jasper M. Cureton brought a screeching halt to The Episcopal Church IN South Carolina's (TECinSC) latest appeal against the Episcopal Diocese OF South Carolina (DIOofSC) in his court.
"Respondents have filed a motion to dismiss this appeal, alleging the underlying order is not immediately appealable," Judge Cureton wrote. "After careful consideration, Respondent's motion is granted."
