A Lament for Anglicanism

The current state of Anglicanism is lamentable. We have an Archbishop whose right hand does not know what his right hand is doing. And this, in spite of the clarity and unambiguity of Holy Scripture. A Christian minister, of any rank and especially of seniority in the Church of God, must know that his first duty is to sound the doctrine of Scripture and stick to it. We are all weak but we must cry to God for loyalty to his Word above all else. We all feel and wrestle with the cowardice of our own hearts but we must insist that God himself, who has called us in all our frailty, grant us the enabling to pluck up Spirit-endowed courage and put ourselves on the line. If our leaders cannot be firm and decisive what will happen to the troops?
