BREAKING AND EXCITING NEWS: Diocese of Atlanta Chooses Not To Celebrate, Affirm Noted Heretic

At least -- that's what I understand.

Heh. It's always news when a diocese as revisionist as Atlanta chooses not to enact heresy.

I couldn't help but admire something said by Bishop Allison -- scholar, Christian, and an actual bishop of The Episcopal Church -- about Pelagius and quoted in the article over on The White Horse Inn Blog:
A world losing its trust in God will compulsively trust in the human will to obey if it is sufficiently rebuked, exhorted, threatened and scolded. No wonder Richard Hooker and St. Augustine called it a ‘cruel doctrine.’
